I have a full page of tips and trick for using TracFone promotional codes, but here's a quick list of things to keep in mind:
- Always add your airtime on the TracFone website when using promo codes so that you get a 2nd chance if it doesn't work.
- Sometimes promo codes that have expired still work.
- In general, you can only use a given promo code once per phone.
- For phones that have DMFL, the free minutes from a promo code do not get doubled.
- Codes will typically work on larger cards than the one listed, but not smaller.

I just used promo code 51729 on a 1 yr/400 minute (initial with double minutes) purchase of minutes for $99.99 (plus tax) and got 1100 total minutes (400x2 + 300.
