New TracFone Promo Codes for October, 2008

OK, there are several new promo codes to update for October, 2008.

The first one comes from a text message I received from TracFone.

Here's a new TracFone promo code for the "Unknown Expiration" category:

50508 - 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card

The TracFone website has also added the following TracFone promo codes that expire October 7, 2008.

54378 - 200 bonus minutes on a 800 minute one-year DMFL card - Expires October 7, 2008
55095 - 200 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Expires October 7, 2008
54357 - 30 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card - Expires October 7, 2008

I have a full page of tips and tricks for using TracFone promotional codes, but here's a quick list of things to keep in mind:

• Always add your airtime on the TracFone website when using promo codes so that you get a 2nd chance if it doesn't work.
• Sometimes promo codes that have expired still work.
• In general, you can only use a given promo code once per phone.
• For phones that have DMFL, the free minutes from a promo code do not get doubled.
• Codes will typically work on larger cards than the one listed, but not smaller.

Note from Keith: I find TracFone promo codes on the TracFone website, communications from TracFone such as emails and text messages, reports from readers of my site, and from the couple of TracFone forums that I read sometimes.

I don't go out to other sites like mine searching for promo codes to list on my site. The site that Dave had included in his original comment looks as though it has only been in existence less than a month. That fact, along with the nature of his comment, made me think that Dave is just trying to plug the other site rather than ask a serious question, so I decided to remove the URL.

Dave, if your question was truly sincere, I do apologize, and I honestly don't mean any offense.
