TracFone Promo Codes Update For October, 2008

I have several TracFone promo codes to report for October, 2008.  Some are new and some are recycled, but they all give you free TracFone airtime minutes!

54378 - 200 bonus minutes on a 800 minute one-year DMFL card - Expires October 28, 2008

55095 - 200 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Expires October 28, 2008

It seems like TracFone has been alternating the follwing two promo codes the past couple of weeks:

54357 - 30 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card - Expires October 21, 2008

50963 - 50 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card - Expires October 28, 2008

So even though 54357 is officially expired, it wouldn't surprise me if it still works for now, but I haven't tested it.

Here's a nice one that was reported by a reader, but I don't know the expiration date:

53018 - 300 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Unknown Expiration

I received a letter from TracFone yesterday that, among other things, included the following promo code:

56737 - 20 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card - Unknown Expiration

Also remember that the $3 coupon code for TracFone and Net10 phones is still active and runs through October 31, 2008.

I have a full page of tips and tricks for using TracFone promotional codes, but here's a quick list of things to keep in mind:

• Always add your airtime on the TracFone website so that you get a second chance if it doesn't work for some reason.
• Sometimes promo codes that have expired still work.
• In general, you can only use a given promo code once per phone.
• For phones that have DMFL, the free minutes from a promo code do not get doubled.
• Codes will typically work on larger cards than the one listed, but not smaller.

Great advice on using the Tracfone website to redeem airtime. I would also add that the site allows you to try up to three different promotional codes in succession, so if the first one fails, you have a second chance with a different code. If the second one fails, however, the third attempt will always go through with or without bonus minutes. So I usually stop after the second failed attempt, close my browser, and then reopen it, trying a new set of codes.
