New TracFone promo codes for January, 2009

The TracFone website is showing some new promo codes that expire on January 20, 2009. Plus, I had a nice one reported to me by a reader that gives 300 minutes on a 400 minute 1-year card and expires at the end of March, 2009.

57203 - 50 bonus minutes on a 450 minute card - Expires January 20, 2009

94125 - 200 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Expires January 20, 2009

81727 - 200 bonus minutes on a 800 minute one-year DMFL card - Expires January 20, 2009

55118 - 300 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Expires March 31, 2009

I have a full page of tips and tricks for using TracFone promotional codes, but here's a quick list of things to keep in mind:

• Always add your airtime on the TracFone website so that you get a second chance if it doesn't work for some reason. If you try two that don't work, then close and reopen your browser before trying again.
• Sometimes promo codes that have expired still work.
• In general, you can only use a given promo code once per phone.
• For phones that have DMFL, the free minutes from a promo code do not get doubled.
• Codes will typically work on larger cards than the one listed, but not smaller.
