It's time to update my TracFone Promo Code list again! Here's what's new this week:
40116 - 50 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card - Expires January 27, 2009
57357 - 200 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Expires January 27, 2009

You can click here to go to the TracFone website to buy your airtime or phone (or use a TracFone airtime card you've already bought) and use your TracFone promo code.
If you want to get an email reminder whenever I update my TracFone promo code list, you can sign up on my TracFone Promo Code Newsletter page. It's quick, easy, and secure. Plus, it's a nice little reminder to use a promo code whenever you add airtime!
I have a full page of tips and tricks for using TracFone promotional codes, but here's a quick list of things to keep in mind:
- Always add your airtime on the TracFone website so that you get a second chance if it doesn't work for some reason. If you try two that don't work, then close and reopen your browser before trying again.
- Sometimes promo codes that have expired still work.
- In general, you can only use a given promo code once per phone.
- For phones that have DMFL, the free minutes from a promo code do not get doubled.
- Codes will typically work on larger cards than the one listed, but not smaller.

I have found that many times when Tracfone promo codes are listed as "Expires on xxx xx, 200X", that is NOT the case. The codes are good long after their so-called expiration dates. So how do you come up with your expiration dates?

I list the expiration dates as TracFone reports them when the promo codes are released. But as you've mentioned, TracFone often either officially or unofficially extends or reuses the promo codes.
If they officially extend the expiration, then the code stays up in the Known Expiration list with the new due date. Otherwise, I put the code in the Recently Expired list, even though they sometimes unofficially extend or reuse the code.
I mention in my tips section that codes sometimes work past their expiration date, but I think I'll also put that reminder at the top of my Recently Expired section just to make it more clear.
Thanks for the question!

I just tried using both the 60 minutes with a purchase of 60 minutes codes - neither worked.
