New TracFone Promo Codes for June 2009

Here are a couple of new (or extended) codes for June:

44492 - 50 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card - Expires June 15, 2009

53646 - 200 bonus minutes on a 400 minute one-year card - Expires June 15, 2009

If you need a 400 minute one-year card, and you can wait for shipping, you can save $3 by going to the TracFone website and ordering the bundle with the airtime card and an LG 225 using promo code 23444.  The card will come separately in the box, so you can add it to your current phone, and then sell or give away the LG 225.  Who knows, after reading the Fone-Review TracFone LG 225 review, you might even want to keep it as an upgrade to your current phone.

The TracFone website is still offering the 1-year 800 minute DMFL card for the "rock bottom" price of $124.99 (reg. $134.99), but is no longer showing the standard DMFL card at all.  Try using 51578 to get 200 free minutes on the 1-year DMFL card.

The TracFone website is still running the special offer where you get free ground shipping any phone or phone/artime bundle of $19.99 or greater. No promo code necessary.

The free shipping still works if you use TracFone coupon code 23444 ($3 off any phone order or phone/airtime bundle order) on a $19.99 phone such as the reconditioned Motorola W376g phone/airtime bundle. As I mentioned above, the airtime card can be added to any phone, so you can order this bundle and use the promo code to essentially get $3 off a 60 minute card. And you get a free phone too!

I have a full page of tips and tricks for using TracFone promotional codes, but here's a quick list of things to keep in mind:

• Always add your airtime on the TracFone website so that you get a second chance if it doesn't work for some reason. If you try two that don't work, then close and reopen your browser before trying again.
• Sometimes promo codes that have expired still work.
• In general, you can only use a given promo code once per phone.
• For phones that have DMFL, the free minutes from a promo code do not get doubled.
• Codes will typically work on larger cards than the one listed, but not smaller.

I live in Jersey and I'm moving to Florida, and I wanted a new phone with a FL area code. So, about a week ago, I bought an LG600 with DMFL on sale at Target for $29.99 and activated it with a Fort Lauderdale zip code. I added a 200-minute card purchased for $39.99 and a bonus code, gving me 500 minutes. I now have a brand-new bluetooth Tracfone in the area code I want with a ton of minutes all for $70.00 plus tax. Not too shabby.
